Road Design Engineer

Job description

We are currently searching for a highly talented Road Design Engineer to join us in Egypt! You will join an expanding company with great growth opportunities. You will get to work on transportation projects across the GCC using complex engineering techniques and performing studies.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design of transportation projects for public sector clients, including plans production, technical writing, quality control, and support in business development and proposal activities regionally.
• Lead the design of a vast array of roadway improvement projects, including the design of horizontal and vertical geometry, drainage design, maintenance of traffic, erosion control, signing and marking, plans production, design documentation, technical writing, quantities calculations, and other applicable design and project documentation.
• Oversee, train, and mentor junior roadway design staff in design and plan production tasks
• Coordination and communication within the project design team, including client contacts, internal staff, and subconsultant team members

Candidate Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years experience in Road Design with thorough knowledge of Road Design Software.
• Ability to utilize computer technology to access data, maintain records, generate reports, etc. and any project specific engineering and construction relevant software
• Good written and oral communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with project team.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Excellent knowledge in utilizing Civil 3D design software is required
